Garden of Maia is an AI-powered landscaping assistant designed to make professional garden planning accessible to everyone based on your climate, soil and plants. The identity is built on a balance of opposites: sharp, square details to represent the technical precision of landscaping, paired with rounded edges for a friendly, approachable user experience. Tech-driven, but rooted in a human touch. This is the director's cut — the full visual system I developed independently, including an original colour palette, logo direction, icon system, and app UI. Mayaya is a Amsterdam-based wellness platform offering meditation, voice liberation coaching, and retreats — a space for awareness in connection. Collaborated with Met Studio (Rotterdam) to create a visual identity that holds the softness and depth of the brand. The result is an elegant, feminine identity system built around a custom serif wordmark in warm stone tones — conveying stillness, trust, and the feeling of coming home to yourself. Deliverables: Wordmark, colour system, typography, social assets, website visual direction in collaboration with Met Studio.

Fields, the collaborating artist in this particular project, translated the artwork into a pure cotton jacquard weave tote. The artwork has been engineered to wrap around the bag, creating a seamless and continuous image that is both beautiful and functional.The tote is perfect for a variety of uses, including as a carry-all for groceries or beach essentials, a laptop bag for work or school, or simply as a stylish accessory to complement any outfit. The high-quality materials and attention to detail make this tote a standout piece that is sure to turn heads and make a statement wherever it is carried.

This collection features a selection of pieces in two distinct color ways: Black and Moonbeam. My Global NB Apparel Collection was launched at Shelflifestore in South Africa. To promote the collection, I collaborated with my friends at SL to create a visually stunning video shot in Barcelona. The video captures a day in my life, highlights the project and showcases the capsule collection. Overall, this project was a unique and exciting opportunity to collaborate with a global brand like New Balance USA and showcase my creative vision through apparel design.

In “Not Pretty”, Kim works to capture the expanse of the human condition with minimalist abstract paintings featuring organic bright floral compositions. Equally symbols for love and life as they are for loss and tragedy, her distorted flowers play with the complexity of this relationship, framing their antithetical nature with bold colors and shapes brought together in one space. But unlike their live counterparts, the flowers are caught within an invisible container and kept alive, their perfection preserved and their beauty contained in a way that we struggle to achieve off the canvas. The romance between the dancing shapes - a harmonious flow between color and shape, light and dark - represents the continuous movement and unpredictability of life, which is constantly shaping our own realities. By capturing this moment of apparent metamorphosis, “Not Pretty” invites viewers to question their own participation in this dance, discovering their experience within the spirited folds of the flowers.
